We meet our tour guide for the 7 days Uganda safari at Entebbe airport (depending on flight time) and transfer to the guesthouse in Entebbe to relax after the flight and be ready for tomorrows adventures.
Overnight in Tilapia Lodge.
Leave Kampala in the early morning and be ready for a long drive. Make a stop at the Equator for some photos on the point where the southern and northern hemisphere meets. Continue on past the towns of Masaka and Mbarara and to drive through the tea estates and beyond the Kalinzu forest. Reach Queen Elizabeth NP and head straight for the afternoon boat-cruise on Kazinga channel, a 36kms channel linking Lake George to Lake Edward. From the boat you can spot land and water adapted Hippopotamuses yawning and some slashing canines to each other, the National Geographical society killing machine the Nile Crocodile gaping along the banks, savannah version of Pigs the Warthog- Pumba of the award winning Lion King are a hallmark sign in this animal home as well as many diferent birds. After the boat-cruise your guide takes you to the lodge for some rest.

In the early morning we drive over to Kalinzu Forest where you head into the forest in a group with a specialized guide to search for our close cousins the chimpanzees. After the chimps trek you go for lunch at the lodge and then drive down to Ishasha, the southern sector of Queen Elizabeth NP, via the exciting road that goes through the park. In the afternoon you enter Ishasha for a game-drive in search for tree-climbing lions that this sector is famous for. During the game-drive you also have chance to see elephant, topi, buffalo and more.
Overnight Topi Lodge.
A morning game-drive offers us a second chance to search for the tree-climbing lions and other interesting sights in the southern sector of Queen Elizabeth NP. The 7 days Uganda safari then continues with the transfer on to Bwindi mountain Gorillas after the game-drive and lunch at the lodge. We drive through the neck of the impenetrable forest. The journey takes us through a changing landscape from savanna via cultivated hills to forest covered mountains.
Overnight in Buhoma Community Rest Camp
Have an early breakfast surrounded by Bwindi Impenetrable Forest the home to the forest giants that are cousins to human beings, the gorillas. We have reached a highlight of the 7 days Uganda safari as you this day will go gorilla trekking in a group with a specialized guide, walk through the fascinating jungle and spend one hour with the Mountain Gorillas. This Impenetrable Forest is full of birds, butterflies and plant species plus forest hog, forest Elephants, Statungas and Dikers. After the gorilla trek we transfer to beautiful Lake Bunyonyi through cultivated hills. In the afternoon we check in to a lake at 1840m above sea level. Here you can relax after the trek and even take a swim if it’s not to cold for you (the lake is free from bilharzia, hippos and crocodiles).
Overnight Lake Bunyonyi Eco Resort.
We leave Lake Bunyonyi after breakfast and start the drive towards Lake Mburo national park. We reach the park in time for lunch at the lodge. In the afternoon we game-drive for view of Zebras, Topis, Warthogs, cape buffaloes and Impalas.
Overnight in Rwakobo rock.
Start the day early with a safari walk getting you close to nature. Visit the hyenas den, chance to see Leopards, zebras, waterbucks, birds and buffaloes in there day break jungle life. After the safari walk you have breakfast at the lodge before setting of for Entebbe as we have reached the end of the 7 days Uganda safari. We reach Entebbe in the afternoon and you can arrange for an evening flight or add a night in Entebbe to fly the next day.
